PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from misunderstanding that cold water is supplied when a potable liquid supplying device is not equipped with a water cooler or this device does not operate and to stop the useless operation associated with this device. SOLUTION: An electric controller 80 puts off a lamp associated with the cold water in a display section of a panel 70 when the detection indicating a water temp. is not inputted to this electric controller 80 from a temp. sensor 36 which is disposed in a second tank 31 of the water cooler 30 and detects the water temp. in this tank 31. Motors 43, 47 and valves 63, 67 are prevented from operating even if the cold water tea switch or switch for cold water of the panel 70 is operated.
