摘要

The cultivator has a rotary drum (2) with a nearly vertical axis and tines (10) adjacent to its lower edge to collect cut plant material. The drum projects the material laterally w.r.t. the direction of travel. The drum has, below the array of tines a flange (5) which contacts the soil to provide a rotary drive for the drum. The flange extends outwardly and can be channel shaped with a convex surface to contact the coil. The flange can have radial formations on its lower surface for positive engagement with the soil.
