The roller pump has rollers rotatably mounted on a rotor and a stator surrounding the rotor at least over part of its circumference and having an inner running surface, the distance between the running surface and the outer surface of each of the rollers occluding the tube being automatically adjusted so as to correspond to twice the wall thickness of the tube by a radially resilient bearing of the rotor axis relative to the stator.
