PURPOSE:To provide a fuel cell stack structure formed so as to avoid directly mixing of reaction gas due to leakage while facilitating evenly spreading reaction gas in an activated region adjacent to a catalytic layer of each cell. CONSTITUTION:A separator 3 of a PEFC has an activated region 3a formed of a recessed part 14, and it is spread to passages 6, 7 of reaction gas. In a hydrogen gas supply passage 6a, a hydrogen gas discharge passage 6b is formed in an opposite side on a diagonal to this hydrogen gas supply passage. In an oxygen gas supply passage 7a, an oxygen gas discharge passage 7b is formed in an opposite side on a diagonal to this oxygen gas supply passage. Cooling water passages 5a, 5b are formed between the passage 6a and 7a and between the passages 6b and 7b. |
