<p>PURPOSE:To develop function without suppressing flexibility by applying a short blade cylindrical member which is braided by metal thin wires over the vicinity of the base part of the wave-shaped wall of a bellows pipe and tightening the other edge part of the blade cylindrical member by a band body on the peripheral surface of the top part of the wave-shaped wall. CONSTITUTION:A metal bellows pipe 1 is formed from pipe members, strip members, or plate members. A short blade cylindrical member 3 which is braided into a nearly X-figure shape by metal thin wires is applied over the vicinity of the base part on one side which forms a wave-shaped wall 2 in the axis core direction of the bellows pipe 1, having one edge part fixed on the peripheral surface 1' part of a flat connection wall at the edge part of the bellows pipe 1. The other edge part of the blade cylindrical member 3 is properly tightened on the opposed peripheral surface 2' of the proper top part of the wave-shaped wall 2 by a band body 4. Accordingly, even if a deflection is generated, the function can be developed sufficiently without suppressing flexibility.</p> |
