PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a function having high reliability by making proper flow control, achieving the reliable action and the protection of a circuit, and omitting wasteful power consumption and cost of a long piping. SOLUTION: In a device in which a main switch and a fuse 1003 are provided on a piping for connecting a battery 1001 to a fuel pump motor 1002, the capacity of the fuse is set to the block current or more of the fuel pump motor and also to the rush current or less. A first switch circuit 1006 having a small resistance value and a second switch circuit 1007 having a large resistance value are parallely provided on the earth side of the fuel pump motor, and a switching control means for the circuits is provided. When the engine speed is not less than the specified value in starting, the first switch circuit is turned on, on the other hand, when the engine speed 13 not more than the prescribed value, the second switch circuit is turned on. More preferably, the first switch circuit is periodically turned on only for the prescribed time when the second switch circuit is on. |
