PURPOSE:To grasp a data input max. area without the increase/decrease setting of the data input possible area by respectively changing the forms of the data input possible area and the data input max. area so as to display them on a data input screen. CONSTITUTION:The data input screen is displayed on the display screen 4 of a display by one record unit. The one record is constituted of 11 labels, label length (document data input possible area) and the document data input max. area are displayed on the right side of the respective labels 41 by one label with the same starting positions of the respective data input areas, label length is displayed by a solid line 42 and data till the remaining document data input max. area is displayed by a broken line 43. Thus, it is recognized at a glance from the display screen 4 that label length can be increased concerning the first label (MR/MS item), for example, and that it cannot be increased any longer concerning the eighth label (ADDRESS item). |
