PURPOSE:To provide a precise detector usable also at ordinary temperatures, as a hydrogen ion concentration detector for measuring pH value in an aqueous solution, in which a full solid type electrode is used to eliminate a liquid junction. CONSTITUTION:A hydrogen ion concentration detector is formed of a solid type detecting electrode 10 and a solid type standard electrode 20. The detecting electrode 10 is formed by bonding a counter electrode layer 13 of a metal fluoride compound of Sn and SnF2 to a solid electrolyte layer 12 of LaF3 monocrystal body, and the standard electrode 20 is formed by bonding a counter electrode layer 23 of Au or Pt to a solid electrolyte layer 22 of antimonic acid. |
