PURPOSE:To prevent generation of lithium which is not used in charging/ discharging due to separation from a negative electrode during charging discharging by using metallic lithium containing conductive powder capable of inserting/ releasing lithium ions in a negative electrode. CONSTITUTION:As conductive powder used in a negative electrode, carbon, WO3, or a mixture of them is used, and the mixing ratio to metallic lithium is preferably 30wt% or less, and its particle size is preferably 0.1-100mum. Lithium preferentially deposits on the contact surface of the conductive powder dispersed in the negative electrode with the metallic lithium, and a crystal is grown by acting the powder as a nucleus to make the deposition of lithium uniform. It is difficult to form dendritic lithium even when charging/discharging is repeated, and even when lithium is formed and separated, lithium is used in charging/dischargng by the contact with the conductive powder. Since the conductive powder is capable of inserting/releasing lithium, deterioration in volume efficiency of the negative electrode is decreased. Charging/discharging life is prolonged and drop in safety is prevented. |
