PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the cost and to improve the durability and to enable the high-speed rotation by rotating the pattern display tape by frictional force occured between a driving roller and a pattern display tape to eliminate the any special process such as perforations and unevenness on the pattern display tape. CONSTITUTION:In a play area 1a of a play board 1, a pattern variation display device 2 is installed at the center. The device 2 varies the pattern in the row direction. According to the combination of the pattern at the time of stopping the variation, a variation prizewinning device 4 is operated. In this case, a pattern unit 8 of the display device 2 is formed by pulleys 13a-13d passing a ribbon-like pattern display tape 12 and driving roller 14 to be rotated by a stepping motor 15 to be attached on the surface of the tape 12, and pressurizing roller 16 or the like on the tape 12, by forming a material cover layer 19 with the cushion and the weak viscosity is formed on the outer peripheral part of the pulleys 13a-13d and the driving roller 14.
