PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the portable terminal equipment in which a reply is made for an incoming call even at a distance from the portable terminal equipment easily without notifying a key pad. SOLUTION: A shock sensor 3 is provided in the inside of the portable terminal equipment main body 1. Furthermore, a mis-reply prevention touch sensor 2 is provided to an outer shell of the main body 1. The user replies an incoming call by an off-hook button of a key pad 12, when it is difficult or dangerous to use the off-hook button, the operation should be as follows: when the user grips the main body 1, a hook control section is able to accept a detection signal from the shock sensor 3, and when the user 9 swings the main body 1 downward, the hook control section accepts a detection signal of acceleration from the shock sensor 3 and replies the cell.
