PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a color liquid crystal display element capable of displaying a high quality picture with excellent reproducibility of color without color unevenness and brightness unevenness in a display screen. SOLUTION: This color liquid crystal display element is provided with plastic film substrates 2a, 2b, transparent pixel electrodes 3, a liquid crystal material 4 and a color filter 6, and is constituted so that the color filter 6 is stuck onto the plastic film substrate 2b through an adhesive film 1. Further, this color liquid crystal display element is manufactured by forming the transparent pixel electrodes 3 on the plastic film substrates 2a, 2b, and then sticking the color filter 6 onto the surface of the plastic film substrate 2b opposite to the transparent pixel electrodes 3 through the adhesive film 1. |
