PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital satellite broadcast reception system where a slave set can freely select a channel even in the case that a main power supply of a master set is interrupted. SOLUTION: In the case that a main power supply of a master set A is interrupted, a low noise converter LNB power supply section 19a detects presence of a voltage at a distribution output terminal 24a received by an LNB output voltage control section 19a1. When the section 19a detects the voltage, the section 19a stops power supply from a power supply section 19a3 and selects a power supply given from an LNB power supply section 19b of a slave set B via a 2distributor 15b, a terminal 14b and a coaxial cable 25 o an IF distribution terminal 24a. In the case of a series of the changeover, the master set A and the slave set B select display of master set/slave set mode display sections 21a, 21b respectively. Thus, the slave set B recognizes that the slave set B can freely select a channel independently of a polarized wave received by the master set A.
