FIELD: metallurgy, possibly shaping of metallic material in the form of wire, particularly wire drawing. SUBSTANCE: method for shaping metallic material in the form of wire and applying lubricant coat onto it comprises step of passing metallic material through pressure chamber provided at least with one inlet hole and at least with one outlet hole. Pressure chamber is filled with lubrication material whose consistency is from hard to paste. Pressure is set and(or) controlled by means of outer generator. Pressure and temperature of lubricant are always selected in such a way that to be lower than level of fluidizing lubrication material. Lubrication material is used in the form of powder or in moulded shape, for example in the form of briquettes, pellets or granules and it is fed to pressure chamber from accumulator through supplying ducts. EFFECT: simplified system for sealing pressure chamber at simultaneously enhancing one or more technological parameters during process of making wire in dependence upon concrete blank. 27 cl, 3 dwg, 2 exp |
