The pressure regulation valve has a valve element (8) biased against a valve seat (10) via a closure force and lifted form the valve seat by the pressure of the fuel in a fuel space (20). The closure force is provided, at least in part, by a spring blade (12) lying in parallel with a membrane (6) defining the fuel space. The membrane may be vulcanized to the spring blade.
