<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system for reducing a cost by suppressing inputs of human resources to the minimum in the case of an operation of an automatic machine in a plant, and in addition, preventing serious economic losses and reduction in operation efficiency by quickly stopping the machine even when faulty products and failures of the machine itself are generated. <P>SOLUTION: In this system, an operation terminal 11 such as a monitoring camera detects a situation at a monitored place with a numerically-controlled device 12 such as an NC machine tool installed therein or its circumference, and when transmitting the detection result to a communication terminal 10 such as a PC, the terminal 10 transmits control information to a controller 13 controlling the control device 12.
