PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type electronic apparatus capable of preventing display parts of cases from being abutted with an operating part even if the number of components is decreased. SOLUTION: A folding type portable telephone set 1 comprises an upper case 2 and a lower case 3 which are coupled by a hinge 4 so as to be opened/closed, and a connector cover 5 for closing a connector provided on a side face of the lower case 3. The upper case 2 includes a display part 6 on a face that becomes inner when the upper case 3 and the lower case 3 are closed, and the lower case 3 has an operating part 9 on a face that becomes inner when the upper case 2 and the lower case 3 are closed.
