ORGANIC THIN FILM TRANSISTOR ARRAY PANEL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

An organic thin film transistor substrate and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to remove problems due to mis-alignment between a substrate and a shadow mask by patterning an organic semiconductor pattern through a bank by using photoresist. A gate line(124) is formed on a substrate(110). A gate-insulating layer(140) is formed on the gate line. A data line(171), a source electrode(173), and a drain electrode(175) are formed on the gate-insulating layer. A bank(146) is formed, wherein the bank has a hole for exposing a portion where the source electrode and the drain electrode face each other. An organic semiconductor material is deposited on the resultant substrate to form an organic semiconductor pattern(154) in the hole. At least a portion of the organic semiconductor pattern overlaps the source electrode and the drain electrode. A passivation layer for covering the organic semiconductor pattern is formed in the hole. An exposed portion of the organic semiconductor material is removed.
