An apparatus having a genuine container authentication function and a genuine container authentication method are provided to judge whether a container and contents are genuine and recharge the container with contents so as to re-use the container. A genuine container authentication method includes a step of reading a first authentication code from a non-contact tag attached to a container, a step(S205) of confirming whether the read first authentication code corresponds to one of first authentication codes belonging to a first authentication code group previously stored in a memory and authenticating the contents of the container as genuine goods when the read first authentication code corresponds to one of the first authentication codes belonging to the first authentication code group, and a step(S213) of deleting the first authentication code from the non-contact tag and the first authentication code group. |
