A wine information providing method and system are provided to search wine suited to a desired condition of a consumer and indicate the position of the wine so as to reduce a time required to select and purchase the wine and allow a seller to obtain correct purchase trend information. A wine information providing system includes a storage position indicator(22) for indicating the position where wine is stored and a store terminal(30) which has an input unit, a monitor and a computing unit and is installed in a store. The store terminal searches a database of the store or a database included in a remote server(10) for wine which meets a condition inputted through the input unit and outputs a driving signal to the storage position indicator corresponding to the searched wine. |
