PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the holding structure of an energy absorption member having a joint face of the end of a load input scheduled side of the energy absorption member and a joint member endurable to a prescribed tensile force, and easily peelable at vehicle collision.SOLUTION: A holding structure of an energy absorption member comprises: a fiber-reinforced resin-made cylindrical energy absorption member collapsed in an axial direction at collision load inputting to absorb a collision energy; and a joint member which is joined by an adhesive, to the inner or outer peripheral face of the end of a load input scheduled side in the energy absorption member, and extends further from the end of the energy absorption member to the load input scheduled side. The joint member is provided along the direction crossing with an axial direction, and comprises a bead part protruding opposite the side of the joint face with the energy absorption member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
