1300563 Protective arrangements SIEMENS AG 20 Nov 1969 [22 Nov 1968] 56925/69 Heading H2K An arrangement for indicating the correct or incorrect operation of switch gear, comprises a changeover contact assembly MV having a moving contact which occupies a position representative of that of the switchgear contacts, the assembly being connected in series with a first relay D which has two windings and two stable positions and a second relay E which has energized and deenergized positions. The relays have changeover contacts d1, e1 connected between red and white lamps R, W and steady and intermittent voltage sources RL, BL. When the switchgear contacts operate correctly from one position to another, the contacts MV change over causing the relay D to change over the contacts d1 to light the appropriate lamp, the relay E being energized with the contacts e1 in the position to provide a steady voltage for the lamp. Should the switchgear contacts only move to some intermediate position, the relay E releases and the lamp R or W which previously gave a steady light, then starts to flash. Further contacts d2, e2 of the relays and a diode 5 provide for remote signalling or for collective signalling in conjunction with like arrangements. |
