In order to prevent stacked self-adhesive transfers sticking to one another each comprises a backing sheet, a release layer on at least a part of each surface of the sheet, a design layer applied to one release layer and a layer of a high tack pressure-sensitive adhesive applied to the design layer. The release layers have different release properties which depend on the relative smoothness of the surfaces of the backing sheet. Each release layer may be of a polysiloxane material and the backing sheet may be of paper, polyethylene or polythene or a laminated structure of any of these. The design layer may be of pigments suitable for firing in a furnace or of materials suitable for use as conductors, resistors, insulators, dielectrics or semi-conductors.</p> |
