Water distribution system for scrubbers - built into the floors of spray-painting cubicles has water inlet system which minimise sedimentation
摘要

Painting cubicle floor contains water distribution channels into which washing water is fed through an inlet system. This system is made up of one or more inlet pipes arranged near the floors of the distribution channels such that the water leaves the pipes with a velocity component parallel to the longitudinal axes of the channels. T-pieces may be used on the ends of the inlet pipes. The channels are designed to have no corners or edges and may be semi-circular in cross section. USE/ADVANTAGE - This invention is used in scrubbers for washing solid or liq. particles out of gases, where the washing water is to be at least partly re-used. It applies partic. to scrubbers for cleaning the exhaust air from painting or lacquering cubicles. Dead zones in the water distribution systems are eliminated as far as possible so that sedimentation of the impurities is avoided and shut-downs for cleaning are needed only infrequently.
