DIE FOR CUTTING AND FOR DEEP DRAWING

This die is to be used in metal processing in the production of thin-wall bulky articles from sheet material. The use of the die ensures the reduction of the number of transitions at a guaranteed uniform roughness of the parts drawn. The consumption of fluids is reduced which allows installing the die in universal pressing equipment. The die consists of a fixed body to which are coaxially fixed a drawing and trimming die and in the opening of the trimming die a trimming punch is placed. The trimming punch is fixed to an upper plate and the drawing punch - to guiding columns. Both plates are interconnected by guiding columns. Under the drawing die in the body, a chamber is formed which is filled with fluid and is connected with the drawing die and with a side tank. Cams are attached to the upper plate which is pressed close to rollers attached to the body at the level of the trimming die.
