The loop car speed control system prevents a system-down caused by a motor trip problem by controlling the velocity of input/output rolls according to the variation of the strip storage amount. The system comprises a processor (26) odering the velocity of the input/output rolls; an entrance motor controller (18) sending control signals for an input bridal motor (19) by use of the odered input roll velocity value and feedback pulse signals of a pulse generator (20); an output bridal motor controller (21) sending control signals for an output motor (22) by use of the odered ! output roll velocity value and feedback pulse signals of a pulse generator (23); a loop car motor controller (25) driving a wire drum (2) motor (4) by use of feedback signals of a synchro transmitter (1).
