PURPOSE:To obtain a compsn. excellent in physical properties by compounding a specific propylene-ethylene random copolymer. a low-density polyethylene. and a high-mol.-wt. ethylene copolymer rubber. CONSTITUTION:20-60 pts.wt. propylene-ethylene random copolymer having a melt flow rate (230 deg.C, 2.16kg-load) of 10-120g/10min and an ethylene content of 2.0-4.5wt.%, 5-40 pts.wt. low-density polyethylene, and 60-20 pts.wt. ethylene copolymer rubber having a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4, 100 deg.C) of 50-120 are compounded. The resulting thermoplastic olefin elastomer compsn. for an air bag cover material pref. has an elongation at break (JIS K 6301, 500-mm/min) at 85 deg.C of 450% or higher and a breaking strength (JIS K 6301) at 85 deg.C of 40-kg/cm<2> or higher. |
