A control unit is disclosed for the drive mechanism of an electric window blind or curtain providing convenient opening/closing and regulation of the opening angle by operating a remote controller or key set. The device comprises a drive mechanism (6) having an opening drive motor (11), an angle regulating motor, and a reduction gear for opening/closing the blind (5); a slider (3) being pulled by a chain driven by the opening drive motor (11) and sliding on a slider shaft (2) moving the blind (5) fitted by curtain pins (4) to open in both directions to the end of a curtain rail box (1); and an angle regulating motor whose shaft is connected to the slider shaft (2) for rotating the slider shaft (2) to regulate the desired angle of the blind (5).
