<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate a work program with a variable by providing a means for replacing the actual numerical value of a designated place in the work program which is defined by means of the actual numerical value without the variable with the defined variable and for generating the work program where the variable is used. SOLUTION: A data input/output control part 30 controls the input/output of data between the NC device 1 and an external input/output device 2. A character code conversion processing part 31 is connected to the data input/ output control part 30 so as to convert data except the character code inside the NC device 1 or to convert the character code inputted from the external input/output device 2 into data inside the NC device 1. For example, a cursor is moved to a part desired to be defined through the use of the variable on a screen where the work program is displayed, a menu 'variable conversion' is selected and, then, a variable expression is inputted and definition is executed. Thus, a part of the work program made into a variable is registered by adding a name.</p> |
