<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin coated carrier excellent in durability as well as to prevent the sticking of the carrier and the deterioration of image quality at high humidity. SOLUTION: Magnetic particles are coated with a resin consisting of one or more kinds of monomers selected from among styrene, n-butyl acrylate, n-butyl methacrylate, methacrylic acid, mono-n-butyl maleate, diethyl maleate and di-n-butyl maleate monomers and one or more kinds of monomers selected from among acrylic ester, methacrylic ester and maleic ester monomers each having an aliphatic amine-contg. side chain and the resultant resin coated particles having >=10<11>Ω.cm electric resistance are surface-treated with electrically conductive fine particles to obtain the objective resin coated carrier having 10<10> -10<14>Ω.cm electric resistance.</p> |
