<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an absorbing material of carbon monoxide which surely absorbs and separates carbon monoxide (CO) by depositing metal copper, metal copper compd. or copper complex on a vinyl pyridine resin having a porous crosslinked structure. SOLUTION: As for preparation of the absorbing material which collect carbon monoxide desorbed from the absorbing material after carbon metal copper, metal copper compds. or copper complexes, monoxide is absorbed, preferably cuprous chloride is deposited on a vinyl pyridine resin having a porous crosslinked structure. The molar ration of copper to 1 mol of nitrogen in the pyridine groups included in the vinyl pyridine resin is controlled to 0.2 to 1.2. More preferably, the vinyl pyridine resin is used the one obtained by copolymn. of vinyl pyridine monomers and a compd. having two vinyl groups as a crosslinking agent component. As for the crosslinking agent component, divinuylbenzene which is a compd. having two vinyl group is used.</p> |
