PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image management system and an electronic watermark imbedding device that can detect alteration of image, make analysis or the like of a watermark key by a 3rd party difficult and correct the image while keeping security. SOLUTION: The image management system 100 of this invention includes an image input device 110 that captures an original image to the system, an original image generator 120 that uses a watermark key to imbed an electronic watermark to the original image, an image processor 130 that applies alteration processing to the original image, an image management unit 140 that stores and manages the original image, and an image display device 150 that displays the original image, and the image processor is characterized in that it imbeds an electronic watermark to the original image in a way that the image display device can display the resulting image for a plurality of number of times without giving a visual effect on the image. |
