PURPOSE: To prevent re-ejection of a used stapler cartridge, by fixing an ejection wedge in a proximal side of the stapler cartridge when the ejecting wedge or a knife blade is moved into a slot. CONSTITUTION: A knife 34 is moved through a cartridge 50 from a slot to which the knife is loaded at first, the knife 34 is moved in a knife main slot 33 m during the start time of an ejection linkage. After that, the knife 34 can move through the cartridge 50 and a stapler simultaneously ejects a staple moving between ejection wedges to cut tissue. During the returning process, the knife 34 is brought in contact with a high place 55 formed between slots 33a and 33b. The front part of the high place 55 is rounded and has a slanted edge 56 which pushes the knife 34 into the slot 33b. After that, the knife 34 is moved into the slot 33b at the end of the returning process to be in the slot 33b. |
