PURPOSE:To secure the extent of required feed pressure in a very low speed range at the time of engine starting or the like as well as to solve a shortage of advance angle at fuel injection timing in a very low speed range. CONSTITUTION:When this pump is in the very low speed range of an engine, each pressure in fuel passages 73, 74 and 75 being interconnected to an inlet gallery 14 is also increased, but this increased pressure is not reached to such strength as resisting the energizing force of a compression coil spring 33 of a differential pressure regulating valve 30, so that this valve 30 will not be opened. In a timer part 40 at this time, each pressure in three fuel passages 73, 74 and 75 interconnected to a feed pump feed pressure chamber 8 is increased, whereby pressure in a timer high pressure chamber 44 to be interconnected to this chamber 8 via a timer part hydraulic supply passage 47 is increased as well. This pressure shifts a timer piston 42 in a direction of compressing a return spring 46 against energizing force of this return spring 46, thereby advancing the fuel injection timing into control. |
