PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag filter capable of achieving the enhancement of an exhaust gas purifying capacity and the miniaturization of an installation space, and a dust collector equipped with it. SOLUTION: The bag filter is equipped with a bottomed flat bag-shaped bag filter body 13 opened at its one end, the end plate 14 which is formed into a flat shape long in the longitudinal direction of the bag filter body and attached to the opening end of the bag filter body to close the opening end and a retainer 12 equipped with a shape holding member, which is fixed to the end plate to be inserted in the bag filter body and holds the bag filter body to a flat bag-like shape from the inside, and bell mouths 16 which are allowed to communicate with the air holes bored in the end plate to be provided to the outer surface of the end plate in a protruded state.
