PURPOSE:To reduce the number of times of switching work of a storage medium by duplicating and storing a part of data stored in another storage medium on a free area generated in each storage medium. CONSTITUTION:Dictionary data B as a data group is stored by dividing in a floppy disk 3 and a floppy disk 4. At this time, data (c) of capacity equivalent to the half of the dictionary data B is stored in the floppy disk 3, and data (e) equivalent to the capacity of the free area generated in the floppy disk 3 consequently is stored in the floppy disk 3. The data (e) is a part of data (d) stored in the floppy disk 4. Therefore, no free area exists in the floppy disk 3. Also, the data (d) and data (e') that is a part of the data (c) are stored in the floppy disk 4 similarly. Consequently, the data (e) and (e') of the dictionary data B are stored by duplicating in the floppy disk 3 and the floppy disk 4. |
