The present invention relates to a wiper device for an automobile, including: a crank arm (11) rotated by a wiper driving motor (10); a first link member (12) which is linked by being connected to an end of the crank arm; a second link member (13) and a third link member (20) which are connected at a hinge (16) provided at a free end so as to be linked to the first link member; a lever member (15) which is rotatably connected to a hinge (17) provided at an end of the second link member, and is provided to rotate a support axis (18) for installing a wiper arm of a driver seat; and a support axis (19) for installing a wiper arm of a passenger seat provided at an end of the third link member (20) having one end connected to the hinge (16). An upper part, a middle part (25) and a lower part of the third link member (20) are curved at different heights with each other, so as not to interfere with the first and the second link members (12, 13). The upper part of the third link member (20) is connected to the hinge (16) of the first link member (12) and the second link member (13). The middle part (25) of the third link member (20) is provided with a hinge (22) as a rotation center axis. And the support axis (19) installed with the wiper arm of the passenger seat is installed in the lower part. The wiper device of the present invention reduces the number of components and improves operation reliability by being formed with the third link member. Since the support axis for installing the wiper arm is provided at the end of the hinge (22) from which the third link member is extended, detergency of a wiper is increased. Also, the wiper device of the present invention has the effect of increasing a wiper wiping area and also simplifying and improving appearance, since components except the support axes of the wiper arm can be arranged at a lower side of a windshield glass.
