Mixing chamber (1) outlet issues directly or via a conduit (11) in the vessel (10) and the chamber second inlet is located in a part of it in which the pressure is lower than in the vessel during operation of the mixing chamber. The second inlet forms part of a recirculation circuit for a part of the water in the vessel. The mixing chamber first inlet is connected to a conduit (7) for water to be cleaned and which has been fed with a cleaning gas before entering the mixing chamber. The cleaning gas is fed to the water to be cleaned with the aid of an ejector (13). The mixing chamber comprises a rotation symmetrical vessel to the upper part of which connects tangentially a feed conduit issuing in the chamber first inlet. The mixing chamber second inlet comprises the end of a pipe (8) extending axially into the chamber, and the outlet is located in a part of the chamber in which the cross-sectional area between the chamber inner wall and the pipe outer wall is less than in the chamber upper part. |
