An apparatus for simultaneously winding a plurality of coils comprises a stationary support 20 for a plurality of cores 19 on which the coils are to be wound, a longitudinally reciprocating drive shaft 1, a support body 3 mounted on the shaft 1 so as to reciprocate therewith but not rotate, the body 3 carrying a purality of rotatable wire guides 17 drivingly interconnected with the shaft 1 and adapted to wind wire 18 on the cores 19.
