A process for producing reactive dye prints on fabric made of natural or regenerated cellulose fibres or a mixture of natural or regenerated cellulose fabric and synthetic fibres comprises printing with a reactive dye followed by drying and padding up nip-padding with an aqueous solution of inorganic alkali at pH 9-14 and then exposing the fabric to radiation for at least one second, by short or long-wave infra red radiation, preferably the padding solution is of pH 11-14 and irradiation takes 2-20 seconds.
