PURPOSE: To provide the manual preparation support device which supports the preparation of a manual easy for a manual user to understand by systematically and properly arranging diagrams inserted to the manual while reducing the burden to a manual implementor. CONSTITUTION: The sequence of operations which should by inserted to the manual to be prepared is held in an operation sequence holding part 1, and corresponding state illustratior are held in a state illustration holding part 2. An operation sequence block designating part 3 receives designation of an operation to be written in one block of the manual. A state illustration selecting part 4 selects a proper diagram to be inserted to the manual and takes out it from the state illustration holding part 2 with respect to the designated operation in the block. A document editor 5 arranges the manual in accordance with the form of layout held in a manual layout holding part 6. If plural proper diagrams exist, division of the block is prompted by a warning message presenting part 7. |
