<p>The ends of the steel strips are anchored to the segments so that the lower horizontal strip of the T profile is wound round its segment in the horizontal plane, while the upper vertical band is wound in the vertical plane. A constant drive shaft with a cam and arm give the to-and-fro motion together with a gear drive and bevel gear. The purpose is to pass the gripper band across the loom without it bending or twisting.</p> |
