PURPOSE: To reduce a loading area by successively specifying respective addresses of respective lines of reference picture information in each specific picture information unit, simultaneously reading out data from two or more memory blocks obtained by dividing a memory into the specific number of blocks based upon the address specification, successively reading out the picture information of respective picture elements in a specific line, and transferring the read information to a picture processing part. CONSTITUTION: A memory in a page memory part 11 is divided into K memory blocks (K>=2) and picture information are successively and repeatedly stored in the divided memory blocks by one line. The leading address of reference picture information in the divided memory block is set up by a converting leanding address setting part 12. Out of picture information storing the set leading address in the divided memory block based upon the length of picture information of one line, respective addresses of respective lines of reference picture information consisting of n picture elements and Xm lines (n>=2, m>=2) are specified by adders 14a to 14d, counters 15a to 15d, 16, 17 and a selector 18. Based upon the specification, picture elements in m lines are transferred to a high picture quality processing circuit 22. |
