PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of performing a high speed printing without allowing a user to misidentify as a fault regardless of relative length of a setting time of a drum life managing device. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with an initial rotation preceding execution control means in addition to a fusion presence discrimination means, reset control means and forcible fusing control means, and it is constituted so that a drum unit 1 is loaded on a min body 6, and when a device power source is turned on after e.g. a cover is closed, before an initial rotation preceding execution control means performs the discriminating operation of the fusion presence discrimination means forming the drum life managing device, at least the initial rotation of a sheets transfer system is executed forcedly. |
