Open=end spinning rotor shaft mounting - has ring magnets to counteract any axial shaft movement

The mounting has magnets to give an axial holding action. The magnets are radial in form with similar pole surfaces with an axial gap between them. At least two paired surfaces are so arranged that their axial gap changes in a counter movement in the event of an axial movement of the shaft. The design gives a friction-free mounting which counteracts any undesired shifting movement of the rotor shaft.
