摘要 <p>Phosphate minerals contg. uranium are leached, esp. apatites, phosphorites, and residues from these materials obtd. in the phosphate fertiliser industry. An aq. leaching soln. is used contg. physiological amts. of cpds. (a) which form water soluble complexes with the uranium cpds. in the minerals. Pref. cpds. (a) are free citric- or lactic- acid, or their water-soluble salts; and cpds. (a) may be directly formed in the leaching soln. (a) via carbon-heterotrophic aerobic or anaerobic micro-organisms (b). Pref. materials (b) are (b1) saprophytic fungi forming cpds. (a) in an aq. substrate soln. (a), esp. aspergillic and other mould fungi living in the ground, in sediments or water; or (b2) bacteria, esp. bacillus and pseudomonas types in the ground, sediment or water. Provides biotechnical recovery of uranium, e.g. from crude Moroccan phosphates.</p>
