PURPOSE:To prolong the life of the enclosure of a telephone set, by providing a shock absorber to the contacting part between the enclosure of the telephone set and the handset, and thus preventing a shock and a loud sound when the handset is lifted and returned. CONSTITUTION:At the circumference of the hook switch part 3 of the enclosure 2 of a telephone set fitted with a dial, a shock absorber 4 is fitted. Consequently, when the handset 1 is returned to the hook switch part 3, the shock between the handset 1 and enclosure 2 is relieved and a shock to the hook switch part 3 is reduced. The shock absorber may be provided to the hook switch part 3 or to the grip part of the handset 1. |
