In order to apply decorative edible elements to food products, the latter are placed or poured into deep-drawn wells in a plastic film, this being done in a manner such that the position of the wells in the plastic film corresponds to the subsequent position of the decorative elements on the foodstuff. As a result, a large number of decorative elements can be simultaneously positioned on the foodstuffs concerned, for example a gateau, and the plastic film can be pulled off without difficulty from the decorative elements adhering to the foodstuff, after the deep-freezing of the foodstuff. <IMAGE> |
