PURPOSE:To attain the laborsaving when a rail is transported to a job site or machined in the job site, by longitudinally movably mounting base structures along a guide rail to the guide rail, which removably tightensits one end to the railway rail being arranged in a direction at a right angle with the railway rail, and providing cutting and drilling devices in the base structure. CONSTITUTION:An upper side base structure 7 and a bottom side base structure 8 are advanced in the direction of a railway rail (a) along a guide rail 1, and after the base structure is set to a suitable position, the railway rail (a) is cut and drilled by using a cutting grinding wheel of a cutting device and a drill 30 of a hole drilling device. In this way, a single working machine, being equipped with both the cutting and drilling devices, enables machining, which is preliminary work of the railway rail (a) before its connection work, to be efficiently performed. |
