STEERING WHEEL LOWER COVER

PURPOSE:To provide a steering wheel lower cover having a sense of high quality by selecting a lower cover body molding material from ester base TPE or urethane base TPE which is mainly composed of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and has surface hardness of Shore D (ASTM-D-785) 25-80 as the TPE. CONSTITUTION:A lower cover 1 having a steering wheel boss 2 is formed separately from a steering wheel body composed of an air bag 3, an air bag 4 and an inflater 5. A lower cover body molding material is selected from ester TPE or urethane thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) which is mainly composed of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and has surface hardness of Shore D (ASTM- D-785) 25-80 respectively as the TPE.
